Abundancia

Abundancia is a regenerative community taking shape on roughly 376 acres of Cedar Creek, in Bastrop County, about thirty minutes southeast of Austin. It is built on a single stubborn idea, that development and nature do not have to fight. Homes, tiny homes, gardens, wellness space, and gathering places sit inside land that stays mostly wild, with a target of preserving more than ninety five percent of the natural ecosystem. The buildings are made from materials that heal instead of harm, hempcrete, rammed earth, and bioceramic, built to last centuries to the Living Building Challenge standard across its seven petals.

What makes it worth backing is the proof it is chasing. Abundancia is designed to meet the real needs of the people who live there, food grown on site, water harvested from the sky, energy from the sun, so daily life gets lighter and the land gets richer over time. It is meant to be copied. The team plans to share its templates, courses, and workshops so other builders can do the same thing elsewhere.
